Wonder Woman 1984: Golden Armor, Steve Trevor's resurrection, age & other BURNING queries WW84 trailer evoked
Wonder Woman 1984 trailer released today and it has given fans a good look at Diana's journey in the 1980s. However, the trailer also left us curious about a few things.
The Wonder Woman 1984 trailer debuted at the CCXP19 over the weekend. After months of teasing and leaked photos, the DCEU movie has given fans a good look at the new tale with Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman in the heart of it. The new trailer also reveals the previously confirmed Steve Trevor's return and give us a look at Kristen Wiig and Pedro Pascal's characters in the Patty Jenkins' directorial. While the trailer has revealed numerous details about the new superhero movie, it has left us asking a million questions.
Wonder Woman's Golden Eagle Armor:
Throughout the trailer, Diana donned the iconic red, blue and golden suit every time her alter ego comes out for a fight. However, at the end of the trailer, Gadot stepped out wearing the Golden Eagle Armor teased in the first poster of the movie released a few months ago. The amazing armor left us wondering how she procured it and why did it not come out during Wonder Woman's fight against Steppenwolf in Justice League?

Steve Trevor's resurrection:
Three questions about Chris Pine's Steve has been eating our heads since the trailer released: How was he resurrected? Where was he all this while? And how old is he? The Wonder Woman comics have killed and resurrected Steve many times so it is unclear which way of resurrection did Jenkins choose to bring Steve back to life. In the comics, Steve was brought to life by the goddess of love Aphrodite, returned from an alternative timeline or worse, he isn't the OG Steve in the first place but an evil form in disguise.

Wonder Woman's heels:
What's the extra focus on Diana's new footwear? Did Jenkins try to focus on Diana's adaptation to the new time? Although it is an upgrade to her Wonder Woman outfit, the extra second focus on her footwear felt misplaced.

Kristen Wiig's Cheetah look:
Where is Cheetah? We squeaked when we saw Kristen Wiig's Barbara Minerva but we were disappointed that Jenkins chose to hide Barbara's alter ego from fans in the trailer. Given that Warner Bros follow the three-trailer format, there are chances Jenkins is saving the look for the last.

Wonder Woman vs the thunder:
Ahead of the golden armor unveil, there is a scene featuring Wonder Woman using her Lasso of Truth against an unknown entity. The cinematography doubled up into imagery where Wonder Woman looked like she was clashing with the thunder. Blame it on the Marvel overdose this year but that scene left us asking, "Can we have a Wonder Woman and Thor crossover?"

These questions will obviously be answered on June 5, 2020, when Wonder Woman 1984 releases.
