Tom Hanks to receive the prestigious Cecil B DeMille award at Golden Globes
Actor Tom Hanks who featured in films like The Da Vinci Code, Forrest Gump, The Green Mile and Sully: Miracle on the Hudson will be receiving the next year's prestigious Cecil B DeMille award.
Actor Tom Hanks who featured in films like The Da Vinci Code, Forrest Gump, The Green Mile and Sully: Miracle on the Hudson will be receiving the next year's prestigious Cecil B DeMille award at Golden Globes. The fans and the film audience were delighted to hear the news of the Catch Me If You Can actor will be awarded the Cecil B DeMille at the Golden Globes to be held on 5th January. Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) in a statement said that they were very glad to announce that Tom Hanks will be receiving the prestigious Cecil B DeMille award at Golden Globes.
The actor Tom Hanks in his illustrious film career had won the Academy Award and Golden Globes consecutively in the years 1994 and 1995 respectively for his films Philadelphia and Forrest Gump. The Hollywood Foreign Press Association further added that they have over the years loved, appreciated and respected the actor's work. Lorenzo Soria, President of Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) also stated that for more than three decades the Bridge of Spies actor has successful engaged and entertained the film audience with a myriad of characters which the fans and audience members have loved thoroughly.
Lorenzo Soria also said that the Road to Perdition actor, Tom Hanks is as brilliant on screen as he is off screen. Soria further adds that the Angels and Demons actor is also an impeccable writer, director and producer. Tom Hanks was also known for his film Toy Story 4.
