It's a piece of good news for all the Marvel fanatics, especially for all the lovers of the Asgardians. There are high chances that Disney and Marvel might collaborate to develop Thor 4 with a female character in the lead role. However, the people will have to wait for a long time. Next up on the MCU list is a solo Black widow movie, after which a starter for The Eternals, then Shang-Chi is also getting his own separate film. Post that, Doctor Strange 2, Black Panther 2 and Guardians of the galaxy are lined up.

Actress Tessa Thompson, who played Valkyrie in Thor: Ragnarok will most probably reprise her role in Avengers: Endgame. In an interview this week, she revealed that 'a pitch' has already been made for Thor 4 and might be directed by Ragnarok director Taika Waititi. She said, "I heard that a pitch has happened for [another Thor film]. I don't know how real that intel is, but I hear that the pitch has happened. I think the idea is Taika [Waititi, who directed Ragnarok] would come back.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe basically comprises of trilogies of all the main superheroes. It is a little surprising for the fans to accept the fact that a fourth part will be added to the Thor series. Till now, both Iron Man and Captain America have also had three standalone films, just as Thor. As Thor: Ragnarok was a huge success, it was obvious for the makers to rope her for the project.
