Taylor Swift is no stranger to questions from the press and fans. The singer has given such memorable interviews and some mind-blowing answers to fans that have made the headlines. However, in a recent tête-à-tête, the singer revealed there is one question that has the potential of impacting her mental health. Nope, it has nothing to do with her relationship with Joe Alwyn or anyone else for that matter. The question is associated with the inspiration behind her chart-topping songs.
As reported by Us Weekly, during an audience interaction at the NPR Tiny Desk concert, Taylor spoke about the "interesting questions" she has often asked and the singer gave a shocking response. She revealed she is asked "What will you ever do if you get happy? Like, what will you write about? Will you just never be able to write a song again?’” The singer explained that these questions have led to some serious self-doubt.
She said she would "go home and be like, ‘What would happen if I were ever happy?’” She added, "Would I not be able to do the thing I love the most in the world? Would I not be able to write breakup songs anymore? I love writing breakup songs. They’re so fun to write!”
Although she has penned some heartbreaking numbers, her recent album Lover has been a happier album and Taylor agrees to it. She described the album as a “very, very happy and romantic.” The album, which draws inspiration from her relationship with Joe Alwyn, sheds light on her relationship with the actor. From cryptic anecdotes to her confessions, Swifties have loved every song.
