Suits Season 9: Meghan Markle appears with onscreen husband Patrick J Adams in the final season's trailer
Suits season 9 is set to premiere this July. The makers have dropped the first trailer and it features Suits alum Meghan Markle aka Duchess of Sussex.
Channel USA is asking you to suit up for an "unforgettable" season of Suits. The law-drama featuring Gabriel Macht in the lead enters its season 9 this summer and it will be the last set of episodes from the show. The last time Suits premiered an episode, Meghan Markle's alter ego Rachel Zane was seen donning a wedding gown and exchanging her vows with Patrick J Adams' Mike Ross. It was the last of the Duchess of Sussex fans would see on a scripted show as she tied the knot with Prince Harry soon after her on-screen wedding episode made headlines.
However, the makers are not done with Meghan just yet. The former Suits actress made an appearance in the Suits season 9 trailer. No no, she did not shoot new scenes with the gang. The team behind Suits kick-offed the journey of the final season with some nostalgia. They decided to revisit a few iconic moments from the previous seasons to induce the waterworks and remind us that it's all coming to an and. The final season teases Rachel and Mike's love story, shared a glimpse of Rachel slapping him upon learning that he's a fraud and moments that led up to the wedding.
The new trailer also teases Donna and Harvey's love story. They are making sure fans remember why they fell in love with Suits in the first place. Donna rightly puts at the end of the trailer, "You're gonna make me cry," we're definitely going to cry when it all comes to an end.

Meghan will not be seen in the final season. The former actress chose to quit acting after it was announced that she was becoming a part of the British royal family. The Duchess of Sussex is now a mother of an adorable boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor.
