Star Wars' Mark Hamill in talks for Guardians of the Galaxy 3? James Gunn REVEALS the truth
Speculations were doing the rounds suggesting that Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has reached out to Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker actor Mark Hamill for GotG 3.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3 has been under the tightest of wraps. The making of the Marvel Studios movie has been on hold since James Gunn has been busy with the filming of The Suicide Squad (aka Suicide Squad 2). While he has been focusing on the DCEU project, rumours are making the rounds suggesting that a few new faces are being considered for the GotG 3. One of the rumours suggests that Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is in the talks for a role in the MCU movie.
The buzz has not been addressed by the studio. However, Gunn recently addressed these speculations and confirmed that Hamill has not approached the actor for a role in the Guardians of the Galaxy 3. The director, who hosted an "Ask Me Anything" session on Instagram, answered a fan's query about Hamill's involvement in the project. "Mark is my friend. We never had these talks you speak of," Gunn clarified.

Rumours about Hamill's addition to the GotG 3 cast rooted from Gunn's visit to the Star Wars actor's house last May. "Finally stopped by my neighbor @hamillhimself's for that cup of coffee we talked about on twitter months ago. And some bbq. And cornbread. And cobbler," he wrote, sharing a picture with the star. "And OKAY IT'S TRUE I ATE THE HAMILL'S OUT OF HOUSE AND HOME BACK OFF. Honestly, though he's an amazing guy and I am really grateful to him and the whole Hamill clan for a great Sunday. (sic)" he added.
This led to massive speculations about Hamill joining the MCU. Do you think Gunn should consider Hamill for GotG 3? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
