Spider Man: Far From Home star Tom Holland reveals THIS is what Stan Lee told him when they first met

After reveling in the Avengers: Endgame effect, the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fans will soon be shifting their focus to Spider-Man: Far From Home. The film, starring Tom Holland as the friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man, looks into the fallout of Avengers: Endgame and how Peter Parker is coping with the loss of his mentor, Tony Stark aka Iron Man. Jake Gyllenhaal makes his entry into the MCU as Quentin Beck aka Mysterio, who assists Spider-Man in saving the world from the bad guys.

In an interview with People magazine, Tom got candid about his first ever meeting with the late, great Stan Lee, who sadly passed away in November 2018. The actor recalled that Stan had taken him and his best friend for dinner, the first time they met. Holland was "worried" that he would ask too many Marvel questions and that Stan may not want to talk about it. Quite the contrary happened as Tom shared, "He spent 45 minutes giving me the entire history of Spider-Man, and that just goes to show how much love and passion went into these projects and into these books."

"And I’m so honored that I got the chance to know him, and get to meet him, and become his friend. He’ll never be forgotten and I will be forever grateful," Holland added.
