Shawn Mendes gets a butterfly tattoo designed by a fan and Twitter finds an uncanny Camila Cabello connection

People have butterflies in their tummies. Shawn Mendes has it on his arm. The international singer has been making the headlines for various things. On one hand, he left everyone thirsting for him with his sizzling act in the video of Senorita. On the other, he was in the spotlight for his relationship Camila Cabello. The two were spotted indulging in a lot of PDA on a couple of occasions which left fans wondering if they were dating. Today, the singer has caused a Twitter meltdown with his new tattoo. 

The 20-year-old went under the needle for a new tattoo. The singer took to Instagram to tease his new tattoo. Shawn flexed his arm for a new butterfly tattoo. But before you think it is a random tattoo he picked out from the internet, here's some news for you. Shawn got a tattoo designed by a fan. The tattoo is unlike anything seen before. One half of the tattoo is designed as a regular butterfly. The other half features a bunch of bloomed flowers.

The breathtaking tattoo has won fans over. However, several fans couldn't help but recall Camila Cabello soon after the tattoo went viral. Many fans pointed out that the new tattoo reminded them of the blue butterfly on her face that featured on one of the albums. "This tattoo reminds me of the butterfly camila used to teas her album with mixed with the flowers from shawn's album cover," read a tweet. "I see that tattoo and it reminds me of @Camila_Cabello's album and @ShawnMendes album. He isn't fooling anyone. #Love," another fan wrote.
