Selena Gomez's mom REACTS to Taylor Swift, Scooter Braun controversy after Justin Bieber defends manager

After Taylor Swift lamented over Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings acquiring Big Machine Label Group, Selena Gomez's mother reached out to the singer and shared her reaction to the controversy.

Selena Gomez's mom REACTS to Taylor Swift, Scooter Braun controversy after Justin Bieber defends manager

It was definitely not a good weekend for Taylor Swift. The international singer was taken aback when she learned that her catalogue was sold told renowned celebrity manager Scooter Braun. She took to Tumblr to lament over the huge Braun's Ithaca Holdings acquiring Big Machine Label Group, the label that has released all of Swift’s studio albums. Taking to Tumblr, she revealed that she was grossed out over the recent developments and she is sad that a man whom she accuses of subjecting her to incessant and manipulative bullying will be taking over the label. Ever since the ME singer caught everyone's attention, artists in the music industry are taking sides.

While Justin made it evident that he is on his manager Scooter's side, several stars have taken Taylor's side. As per Entertainment Tonight, several singers including Halsey, Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Selena Gomez, Rihanna and Adele have supposedly unfollowed Scooter since Taylor's Tumblr post. Now, Selena's mom has taken Taylor's side. Mandy Teefey shared a portion of Taylor's post from Tumblr to encourage her and assure her that she's by her side.

"I wish I could give you a big hug right now! Thank you for speaking out about this and teaching future young artist about protecting themselves. I don’t understand the pleasure of power plays to simply hurt people! To deny you the option to own your blood, sweat and tears, especially as a young women who shared growing up in front of the world, is heartbreaking!!" she wrote.

Meanwhile, Justin shared a picture with Taylor defending Scooter. "One thing i know is both scooter and i love you. I feel like the only way to resolve conflict is through communication. So banter back and fourth online i dont believe solves anything. I’m sure Scooter and i would love to talk to you and resolve any conflict, pain or or any feelings that need to be addressed. Neither scooter or i have anything negative to say about you we truly want the best for you. I usually don’t rebuttal things like this but when you try and deface someone i loves character thats crossing a line.." he said in a long post.
