Amidst Justin Bieber's wedding to Hailey Baldwin, sources reveal Selena Gomez is reportedly "open to dating." The singer is reportedly focusing on herself and choosing to stay away from the limelight.
Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin's wedding is the talk of the town. The couple, who got married last September, tied the knot again on Septemeber 30. The Canadian singer's wedding comes more than a year since he broke up with Selena Gomez. While JB found love in Hailey, The Heart Wants What It Wants singer hasn't been romantically involved with anyone. Instead, it has been revealed that the singer has chosen to stay away from the limelight and focus on herself.
Just a few days ago, Selena confessed she was struggling with depression and admitted she was suffering "mentally" and "emotionally" in 2018. Now, a source close to Selena reveals that the singer is solely focusing on herself. An insider told Us Weekly that Selena is in a "good place." The grapevine added that the singer has been spending time with her "old friends and family and keeping herself out of the limelight" to avoid feeling "bombarded or overwhelmed.” She feels grateful to have an "amazing support system."
The source also revealed that it has all helped reduce her anxiety drastically and "have been huge proponents in her healing process." The source also added that Selena is also open to dating now.
This isn't the first time the news about Selena's dating interest has made the headlines. Back in July, a source told E! News that Selena has moved on from Justin Bieber and is ready to meet someone new. She's "open to start putting herself out there again. She is taking everything day by day and focusing on herself and her music," the insider said.
On the work front, Selena is working on some new music. The songstress teased that new music is in the making when she shared a picture from the studio.
