Selena Gomez had a rough year in 2018 both personally and health-wise. While she began the year getting back together with ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber, the couple eventually broke up. Justin then moved on with Hailey Baldwin and the pair got hitched in September. When it comes to her health, Selena had to check into rehab, due to multiple mental breakdowns as side effects of her Lupus disease and getting a life-threatening kidney transplant. Since her rehab stint, Selena is focused on being happy and healthy.

In her first big interview since returning to the public eye with the Dream It Real podcast, Selena got candid about how getting therapy helped her immensely. "I am a believer of therapy....I wish I could have done a lot of things and experienced things maybe a little differently [when I was younger]. But I go to therapy," Gomez shared. The singer, who recently collaborated with J Balvin for I Can't Get Enough also spoke about her upcoming album which has gotten many fans excited.

Selena relayed, "Working on this new record, I just wanted it to be me, all me. Every song is a story I’ve experienced. To that point, I think there’s no one who’s going to tell my story better than myself. I just really wanted to kind of just live with my story a bit and create it into something that means a lot to me."
