Selena Gomez confesses she was SUPER protective of her little sister on the Frozen 2 premiere red carpet

A few weeks ago, Selena Gomez melted our hearts when she walked the red carpet with her younger sister Gracie Teefey. The siblings walked the red carpet of the Frozen 2 premiere. The two sisters attended the red carpet wearing matching costumes. The two twinned in Marc Jacobs ensembles. The outfit also featured a feather- and jewel-adorned capes that stole the show. Judging from the photos, Selena's six-year-old sister had a memorable time at the event. Now, Selena spilled the beans on her sisters' day out. 

Speaking to Nick Grimshaw on BBC One's music show, Sounds, Selena revealed the event ignited one of the "coolest" feelings in her. The singer looked back at the moment and revealed that she felt it was the "favorite carpet" memory of all time. "I said to her, 'This is my favorite carpet I have ever done.' Because she's never done any of that and we didn't force her to do that. Everything we do... to keep her safe, but my sister's become very dramatic now. She's all about the dresses, and the glitter," she said. 

However, before she stepped on the red carpet with Gracie by her side, Selena had given her a piece of advice. She revealed, "I bent down and I looked at her before we stepped on and said, 'If you get nervous, if you get overwhelmed, just pull my hand and I'll take you off immediately.'" 

The protective elder sister was mentally prepared for anything and everything that could unfold on the red carpet. However, to her surprise, Gracie owned the red carpet like no one else. "[She] walked straight on the carpet and has her full moment with the feathers. I'm standing there, and I'm like, 'Gracie, get me in the picture too,'" she remembered.
