Now, Woody Allen's adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow, who has accused him of sexual abuse while she was younger has said some sharp words in response to Scarlett Johansson's support for Woody Allen.
Scarlett Johansson in her interview with The Hollywood Reporter strongly put her weight behind her Vicky Cristina Barcelona director Woody Allen. The director is facing charges of child sexual abuse by his adoptive daughter Dylan Farrow. After Scarlett Johansson openly showed her support to her Match Point director in spite of many artists from Hollywood regretting their association with the Scoop director, Woody Allen. Now, Woody Allen's adoptive daughter who has accused him of sexual abuse while she was younger has said some sharp words in response to Scarlett Johansson's support for Woody Allen.
Dylan Farrow now says that Scarlett Johansson who is actively involved in woman's issues, has a very long road ahead of her in understanding sexual abuse issues. Farrow further adds that if Scarlett Johansson feels she is a champion of such issues, then she has a long way to go before she could truly understand what the victims go through. Scarlett Johansson in her interview with The Hollywood Reporter admitted that she has spoken to the well known director on many occasion about this issue, and each time the Scoop director has denied any wrong doing on his part.
The actress also said that she is trusting the director Woody Allen simply because she has faith in him. Scarlett Johansson goes on to add that director Woody Allen has never been charged with any charges of sexual abuse nor has he been sentenced to any kind of punishment after being found guilty. The actress has firmly put her support behind the director which many from Hollywood are surprised to see.
