Scarlett Johansson is back as Natasha Romanoff in Black Widow. The formal announcement was made at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, where some filmed footage from the upcoming MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) movie was unveiled. Read below to know the leaked details of the Black Widow footage.
San Diego Comic-Con 2019 is going to be remembered as the event where Phase 4 of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) was unveiled for the very first time. Ever since Avengers: Endgame, fans have been anxiously waiting to know about the slate of upcoming MCU movies and Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige delivered in spades. From Thor: Love And Thunder to The Eternals, the Hall H crowd got acquainted with some new faces as well as some familiar ones.
One MCU film which everyone is really looking forward to is Black Widow. We already saw the on-set photos of Scarlett Johansson in action for the standalone film on Natasha Romanoff. However, no formal announcement was made until Comic-Con 2019, when Scarlett graced the Hall H and revealed the release date and cast of Black Widow. However, there was also some filmed footage showcased exclusively for the Hall H crowd. According to MCU Direct, we now know what happened in the said footage. We begin with a montage of Black Widow in previous MCU movies along with the voiceover, "I used to have nothing. Then I got this job. This family. I was better because of it. I've made mistakes. I can't go back."

Then the word "Budapest" pops up, which has been referenced several times, over the past decade in MCU films. We then see a major fight sequence between Widow and Yelena Belova (played by Florence Pugh). Post the sequence, where they both pass out, we are seen Widow welcoming her sister with drinks stating, "Good to see you too, sis. You just had to come to Budapest, didn't you?"
After a couple more montages of Natasha running along with other agents, we see her inside a car, that's smashed towards a bridge, in the night. Romanoff is badly hurt while the car burns. However, someone comes for her and when she tries to shoot it, the shape pulls out a shield to stop the bullet. Another fight begins, but their combat style seems mirrored. The character has a mask on along with a shield which has a symbol of two bowls attached at the bottom. This very well indicates that the villain in Black Widow is The Taskmaster.
