Salma Hayek may feature alongside Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden in Marvel's The Eternals
The latest reports suggest that Salma Hayek is reportedly being considered to star in The Eternals, Marvel Studios' adaptation of the comic book series of the same name.
Marvel Studios knocked it out of the park with Captain Marvel and Avengers: Endgame this year, and the studios will soon start filming The Eternals. Now, it looks like the cast of The Eternals is getting bigger and bigger by the day. The latest reports suggest that Salma Hayek is reportedly being considered to star in The Eternals, Marvel Studios' adaptation of the comic book series of the same name. For the uninitiated, The Eternals are a group of near-immortal superheroes with Ikaris and Sersi as the central characters.
In March 2019, Marvel announced that Angelina will be a part of The Eternals as Sersi. Even comedian Kumail Nanjiani and Korean actor Ma Dong-Seok were approached for the film and have been cast. Recently, Game of Thrones actor Richard Madden was also cast as Ikaris in The Eternals.
Salma Hayek's role has been speculative and there is no confirmation on the kind of role she will play. Created by Jack Kirby in 1976, the story of The Eternals is set millions of years ago when the cosmic beings known as the celestials genetically experimented on humans to create super-powered individuals known as the Eternals along with the villainous Deviants.
