Ryan Reynolds feels tiny in front of this cute Detective Pikachu; check it out

Ryan Reynolds is all set to amaze us by playing the role of our favourite Pokemon character Pikachu in the film Detective Pikachu. The trailer of the film received a lot of positive response and the audience is very excited to watch the film. Ryan Reynolds actor has started the promotions of the film at a larger scale.

A few hours ago, the handsome actor shared a picture on his Instagram page from Beijing. In the photo, Ryan is sitting beside a huge Pikachu soft toy. The actor gave a witty caption to this cute picture. The Deadpool actor wrote, "Update: I’m tiny. #detectivepikachu #Beijing."

Today, Ryan shared a video in which he showed us all he auditioned for the role of Pikachu. The video also features our other favourite Pokemon characters like Jigglypuff, Pancham, Aipom, Dodrio, Venusaur, Eevee and Charizard.

Detective Pikachu is helmed by Rob Letterman. The film also stars Justice Smith, Ryan Reynolds, Kathryn Newton, Omar Chaparro and Karan Soni.

In an interview earlier, Ryan Reynolds said that he feels privileged to play the character of Pikachu and has spent every second in making this character come alive. Produced by Legendary Entertainment, the film will hit the screens in May this year.
