Robert Pattinson has THIS to say on whether Joaquin Phoenix's Joker will make an appearance in The Batman

Robert Pattinson is all set to don the Caped Crusader's gear as he takes the baton from Ben Affleck for The Batman. Directed by Matt Reeves, The Batman will see Robert essaying the role of a younger Bruce Wayne and will have his hurdles sorted, as various Bat-villains like Riddler and Penguin are being considered. Recently, two more cast members were confirmed to join Pattinson, which includes Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman and Paul Dano as Riddler. There's also talks of Jeffrey Wright joining as Commissioner James Gordon.

Before The Batman, we were reacquainted with Bruce Wayne recently, as a lot younger version of the billionaire was referenced to and shown in Todd Phillips' directorial, Joker. We see Joaquin Phoenix's Joker even have a sequence with Bruce and his butler, Alfred. This begged the question of whether Joker and The Batman belong to the same DC Universe. When quizzed if Joaquin may appear opposite him in The Batman, Robert revealed to Yahoo, "It’s kind of a different world."

Furthermore, the 32-year-old actor confessed that he is yet to watch Joker. "I might watch it tonight! Joaquin is the best — he’s awesome in everything," Pattinson shared.

Recently, Todd confirmed with Variety that Joaquin's Joker and Robert's Batman will not be appearing in a future film together. But, one can't help but possibly dream about a possibility!

The Batman is slated to release on June 25, 2021.
