Robert Pattinson to don a blue and grey Batsuit instead of the black suit in Batman? Deets Inside
He might be following the footsteps of Christian Bale and Ben Affleck to join the league of Batman, but Robert Pattinson might not replicate everything they did. The Twilight star might not be donning the iconic black Batsuit for the Matt Reeves directorial.
Ever since Warner Bros announced that Robert Pattinson will play the new Batman, fans have been imagining the actor as in the all-black suit. They have pictured him in suits worn by Christian Bale and Ben Affleck. The actor also confessed he has tried one of the previously designed Batsuits during the audition. But this new report might leave fans heading back to the drawing board. If a new rumour is to be believed, Pattinson will be seen wearing a different Batsuit for The Batman.
According to a Twitter account that goes by the handle "TheComixKid," Robert's Batman could be following the footsteps of Adam West from the 1960s and wear a blue and grey Batman suit. As per the speculations, the makers are revisiting the classic iterations to give fans a modernised version of West's iconic Batsuit.
"Take this as a rumor, but we are hearing from a reliable source #TheBatman’s suit will be a modernized take on the West costume, incorporating Blues and Greys, but no longer yellow, but most importantly I’m told it will feature the white eyes, a little like this minus the yellow," the Twitter account states. As the Twitter user himself says, take the rumour with a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, Pattinson has begun preparing for Batman. The actor, who was announced to play the next Batman earlier this summer, was seen with his trainer and preparing for the Matt Reeves directorial.

Speaking to Variety, Pattinson revealed that he felt powerful as soon as he donned the suit. "I put it on. I remember saying to Matt, ‘It does feel quite transformative!’ He was like, ‘I would hope it does!!! You’re literally in the Batsuit.’” Pattinson described. "You do feel very powerful immediately,” he says. “And it’s pretty astonishing, something that is incredibly difficult to get into, so the ritual of getting into it is pretty humiliating. You’ve got five people trying to shove you into something. Once you’ve got it on, it’s like, ‘Yeah I feel strong, I feel tough, even though I had to have someone squeezing my butt cheeks into the legs,’” he added.
