Robert Downey Jr goes from Iron Man to doctor in the FIRST poster of Dolittle; Check it out
Almost six months after Avengers: Endgame released and saw him kiss MCU goodbye, Robert Downey Jr is all set to grace the big screen as Dr. Dolittle in the Dolittle movie. Check out the first poster here.
Avengers: Endgame is done and dusted as Robert Downey Jr is preparing for the release of his next non-Marvel Cinematic Universe movie. It was previously revealed that Downey was going to step into the shoes of Doctor Dolittle in The Voyage of Doctor Dolittle. Now, the makers have released the poster of the movie and revealed that the title of the movie has been changed. The Dr. Dolittle reboot is now titled Dolittle. The Iron Man actor, who kissed MCU goodbye earlier this summer, has removed the Iron Man suit and featured in the doctor's look in the first poster.
Looking adorable as ever, Downey is seen sporting a colourful shirt underneath a black jacket while his talking animal friends surround him. The movie stars several actors including Octavia Spencer, Marion Cotillard, Jim Broadbent, Emma Thompson, Michael Sheen, Ralph Fiennes and Antonio Banderas. It also includes John Cena, Kumail Nanjiani, Spider-Man: Homecoming's Tom Holland, No Time To Die star Rami Malek and singer Selena Gomez.

With the announcement of the poster, RDJ also confirmed that the new trailer will arrive this Sunday. Downey is not the first actor to essay the role of Dr. Dolittle. The first Dr. Dolittle movie was released in 1967, with Rex Harrison playing the doctor. The film won several Academy Awards, including Best Original Song and Best Visual Effects.
