Riverdale stars Camila Mendes and Charles Melton have 'been separated for a few months'; Deets Inside

There seems to be trouble in Camila Mendes' paradise. The Riverdale star has been dating Charles Melton for over a year now. The duo has been painting the social media red with their romance. However, fans noticed that the two stars have switched off the romance button over the past few months. This raised eyebrows about their relationship with rumours about their breakup spreading like wildfire. Now, E! News reports that Camila and Charles have decided to hit the breaks on their relationship. 

Sources tell the international outlet that the couple has decided to take a break. The insider adds that the couple has been "separated for a few months now." Attempting to explain the cause of their decision, the grapevine points out that Camila and Charles' relationship "escalated very quickly." Camila and Charles are not taking some time out to "focus on their work and themselves." However, the insider assures that nothing, in particular, happened between the two that triggered the decision. 

"They just both felt busy and overwhelmed and it was a lot of pressure on them," the source adds. The outlet also adds that they hear the couple has been "stressed" which has resulted in a few "ups and downs" in their relationship. Camila and Charles are now focusing on themselves. While the duo is filming for Riverdale together, Charles is also busy filming his movie Swing in Louisiana. Camila too has a movie in the making. 

Despite the break, Charles and Camila are still in touch and maintaining a sense of normality on the sets on the sets. Neither of the stars has addressed the rumours. While they focus on their lives, Camila is busy being a "dog mom." She recently took to her social media to talk about her new role in life.
