Priyanka Chopra WINS People's Beauty of the Year Award; says 'looks aren’t everything'
Priyanka Chopra Jonas has been awarded Beauty of the Year by People as part of their Beautiful Issue.
There is no denying that Priyanka Chopra Jonas is one of the most beautiful women in the world. When the actress smiles, she breathes life into a room. Her dressing style has redefined our wardrobes. Priyanka oozes of the boss lady vibes every time she walks into a room. Turns out, we aren't the only ones who feel so. People magazine is also not denying that PeeCee is one helluva beautiful star. Thus, Priyanka has been awarded the Beauty of the Year by the international magazine.
The actress was awarded the title as part of their Beautiful Issue. The actress, who made headlines for her wedding to Nick Jonas and her work throughout 2018, spoke to the outlet and revealed the secret behind her beauty. The actress said that she has realised looks aren't everything.
She said. "In the world we live in, the standard of beauty is not really real. And that’s something that we have done to ourselves.” The diva added, "I think I realized what all it takes to actually look the way we do on magazine covers and the work we do. That’s when I realized looks aren’t everything, it’s the confidence with which you walk into a room, it’s the ability to do your job to the best of your capabilities.”
Speaking about her beauty routine, she said, "The way that I take care of my skin is to make sure to moisturize every day. I take off all my makeup before I go to bed, and it doesn’t have to be really difficult. I think hydration is extremely important, drinking as much water as you can. That is truly the elixir of life.”
PeeCee also shared her vision for the future with the magazine. She said she wants to focus on building her brand and become an “extremely glamorous old lady, who will always have an opinion on everyone. I’ll be super fun and yeah, [mine] will be the house everyone will want to come to."
