Earlier on Monday, young activist Greta Thunberg stunned everyone with her powerful speech at the UN’s Climate Action Summit held in New York. Her repeated honest questions to the world leaders were applauded by many others later on. Priyanka Chopra are also amongst the individuals who hailed Greta for the impassioned speech which she gave at the international summit. Earlier, celebs like Alia Bhatt, Kajol and others also applauded Greta for the same through social media.
Priyanka Chopra has shared an Instagram post consisting of some snippets of the videos of Greta’s speech along with a strong applauding message for the young girl. Priyanka writes, “How dare we fail you... and what audacity we have to not want to help you save what’s left. Thank you @gretathunberg for giving us the much needed punch in the face, for bringing your generation together and showing us that we need to know better, do more to save what is most critical. At the end of the day, we only have this one planet. #howdareyou”
Talking about Priyanka Chopra, the actress is currently busy with the promotions of her upcoming movie The Sky is Pink which is going to be released on October 11, 2019. She will be seen along with Farhan Akhar, Rohit Suresh Saraf and Zaira Wasim in the movie which has been directed by Shonali Bose. It also marks the return of Priyanka to Bollywood movies after a period of almost three years.
