Priyanka Chopra opens up on how director once told her to get her 'proportions fixed' in Unfinished memoir

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has started 2021 with a bang. The actress was recently seen in Ramin Bahrani's The White Tiger opposite Rajkummar Rao and lead actor Adarsh Gourav. While the movie has lapped up some serious appreciation from all quarters, Priyanka is on to the next milestone. The actress is all set to release her memoir Unfinished soon and excerpts from the book are already out.
Now, as per a latest report in The Independent, Priyanka's one episode from her memoir revolves around her unpleasant experience in Bollywood. The actress revealed that it took place soon after she was crowned Miss World in 2000. Priyanka went on to say how one of the first directors who met her suggested that she should fix her “proportions”.
"After a few minutes of small talk, the director/producer told me to stand up and twirl for him,” she wrote in her book.
She went on to add, "I did. He stared at me long and hard, assessing me, and then suggested that I get a boob job, fix my jaw, and add a little more cushioning to my butt. If I wanted to be an actress, he said, I’d need to have my proportions ‘fixed’, and he knew a great doctor in LA he could send me to. My then-manager voiced his agreement with the assessment."
Priyanka went on to write how she separated ways with her manager soon after. The actress that the meeting definitely left her 'stunned' and feeling 'small'.
