Priyanka Chopra feels honoured to be a part of the Benefit Committee for Met Gala 2019 along with Nick Jonas

The 2019 Met Gala is less than a month away and a list of stars who will be making up the host committee has been revealed. Every year, Anna Wintour curates a list of celebrities, and well, this year around, the list has a majority of actors along with designers, philanthropists and many other people from different fields of life. We will see Anna co-chair along with Serena Williams, Harry Styles, Lady Gaga along with Gucci creative director Alessandro Michele.

As of now, celebrities who have been chosen include Bradley Cooper, Jennifer Lopez, Lupita Nyong’o and many others. The ever so loved couple Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds will also be a part of the host committee. And guess what? Also joining in on the list are the newlyweds Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra. Priyanka also took to Instagram and wrote, "From walking the prestigious carpet for the first time, to meeting my husband and many friends for life... Nick and I are honored to be on the Benefit Committee for this year’s Met Gala. Looking forward to the first Monday of May,"

This year, Met Gala is dated for May 6 and the theme for this year is Camp: Notes on Fashion. As interesting as it gets, fans have been extremely kicked up about PeeCee and Nick being a part of the committee. PeeCee is the only Indian actor who will be a part of the committee and just like the so many times, the actress continues to make India proud and is true to her roots. A Global icon truly, isn't she?

Meanwhile, Priyanka and Nick were recently enjoying with each other and they are making the most of their time together. On the work front, Priyanka will be next seen in The Sky Is Pink which co-stars Farhan Akhtar and Zaira Wasim in the lead roles. Nick, on the other hand, seems to be at the peak of his career now that the Jonas Brothers are back together.
