Priyanka Chopra, Danielle Jonas react to Sophie Turner aka Sansa Stark's emotional goodbye to Game of Thrones

Game of Thrones ended today. The HBO show came to an end revealing the new King and the fate of Jon Snow, Bran Stark, Arya Stark, Sansa Stark, Daenerys Targaryen and other characters. With Game of Thrones finale premiering this weekend, several Game of Thrones stars took to social media to post emotional goodbyes to their characters. One of the many stars who took to Instagram and kissed her character goodbye was Sophie Turner. The actress, who portrayed the role of Sansa Stark on the show, took to Instagram and shared a couple of pictures from behind the scenes. 

An excerpt of her post read, "Sansa, Thank you for teaching me resilience, bravery and what true strength really is. Thank you teaching me to be kind and patient and to lead with love. I grew up with you. I fell in love with you at 13 and now 10 years on.. at 23 I leave you behind, but I will never leave behind what you’ve taught me." 

Sophie Turner penned down an emotional message just a few hours before the Game of Thrones finale premiered. Many of her co-stars, celebrities and fans dropped comments reacting to the photo. Priyanka Chopra Jonas was one among them. PeeCee, who was recently at Cannes 2019 with Nick Jonas, took to the comments section to react to the post. She liked the picture and wrote, "Awww" with a heart-eyed smiley. Danielle too dropped a comment on the picture. She showered Sophie with love as she posted a series of heart emojis. 

Sansa, Thank you for teaching me resilience, bravery and what true strength really is. Thank you teaching me to be kind and patient and to lead with love. I grew up with you. I fell in love with you at 13 and now 10 years on.. at 23 I leave you behind, but I will never leave behind what you’ve taught me. To the show and the incredible people who make it, thank you for giving me the best life and drama lessons I could have ever asked for. Without you I wouldn’t be the person I am today. Thank you for giving me this chance all those years ago. And finally to the fans. Thank you for falling in love with these characters and supporting this show right through till the end. I’ll miss this more than anything.

As for us, we couldn't stop ourselves from tearing up as we looked at the picture. Game of Thrones finale made us realise, it is an end of an era.
