The royal family had a lot to celebrate when Prince George turned six on Monday. For starters, the young prince's mother Kate Middleton popped out her camera for her son and clicked some adorable portraits of her six-year-old son. In continuing tradition of the royal family of sharing portraits on their kids' birthday, the new photos showed Prince George flashing his toothy grin in carefree pictures. It would be a lie to say that the young prince was only showered with love and no gifts. According to a latest report, Prince George exactly knew what he wanted for his birthday.
A source exclusively told Us Weekly, "He loves nature and building things. He has asked for a pair of binoculars for birdwatching and an electric kids’ car, which many of his school friends have." The report also revealed that handmade cards from his younger siblings Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis added a special personal touch.
Prince George reportedly is a fan of magic and his birthday party was complete as Kate Middleton and Prince William hired a magician. The source said, "The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have gone all out to organize a birthday party for George. Kate has done most of the organizing herself." Whereas Prince William also pitched in and it was reportedly his idea to hire a magician for their son. The party was attended by their close family and friends as well as George's schoolmates.
As for the food, “Kate’s asked them to make pizza, pasta and sliders. They wanted cupcakes, an ice cream machine and candy. She generally ensures that her kids stick to a healthy diet, but birthdays are different,” the insider added.
