Ocean’s Eleven alums Julia Roberts and George Clooney reunite for romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise
Ocean’s Eleven alums Julia Roberts and George Clooney are joining forces once again for their upcoming romantic comedy film Ticket to Paradise.
Hollywood veterans Julia Roberts and George Clooney are teaming up once again for a new movie! Deadline reported that the Ocean’s Eleven alums have joined the cast of Ticket to Paradise, a romantic comedy directed by Ol Parker for Universal Pictures. Julia and George will play a divorced couple who decide to travel to Bali in an attempt to prevent their daughter from making the same mistake they made 25 years ago.
Julia and George have been close friends since they met on set of Ocean’s Eleven franchise back in 2001. They also starred in Money Monster together in 2016. According to Deadline, “This deal is important to those wondering when film studios are going to stop selling pricey star packages to streamers because of the uncertainty of the theatrical marketplace, and once again step up to consider projects that can work in theatres.”
The duo has been friends for over 2 decades and back in May 2017, Roberts even shared some parenting advice for Clooney. The Pretty Woman actress visited Ellen DeGeneres on her show The Ellen Show. Julia and the TV show host chatted about her close friend George Clooney who is all set to welcome twins soon with his wife Amal Clooney. Julia has three kids herself which include twin daughters Hazel and Finn along with a son Henry with husband Danny Moder. When Ellen asked Roberts on whether she gave any advice to George, initially the actress joked and said yes. She then went on and gave some serious parenting knowledge. She said, "It's gonna be so fun. They are a great couple and I think they don't need advice from me or anybody else."
