It has been a weekend of weddings in Hollywood. On one side, Jennifer Lawrence tied the knot with Cooke Maroney on Saturday. On the other, it has been revealed that Nicki Minaj too walked down the aisle and exchanged her vows with beau Kenneth Petty. Yes, the rapper has tied the knot with the 41-year-old less than a year since they began dating. Nicki has been hinting at the possible wedding for a while now as she referred to Kenneth as "husband" on several occasions. The singer took to her Instagram to confirm she is married.

The Bang Bang rapper shared a video flaunting matching "Mr. and Mrs." mugs and baseball caps. The caps featured "Bride" and "Groom" written across the front. She shared the video with the caption, "Onika Tanya Maraj-Petty 10•21•19," adding the bride and groom emoji.

Her new video comes after it was reported that the songstress and husband acquired a marriage license. The duo obtained the license back in July. “We did get our marriage license," Nicki confirmed on her Queen Radio show back in June. “I think I have what I was striving for, just happiness. It was so hard to get to a happy place. Now that I’m there, I don’t want to compromise that for anyone or anything," she added.

However, the relationship is not short of its share of controversy. Kenneth is a registered sex offender in New York. He was reportedly convicted of attempted rape in 1995. He served four years in prison and was sentenced to a 10-year sentence in 2006 for first-degree manslaughter, TMZ reported.
