Weeks after two back-to-back relationships with husband Liam Hemsworth and rumoured girlfriend Kaitlynn Carter came to an end, Miley Cyrus is already turning over a new leaf. According a report in E!News, Miley is spending some quality time with longtime friend and musician Cody Simpson. Since her seven month marriage to Liam came to an end, Miley spent majority of her time with Kaitlynn Carter. From going on lunch dates to walking hand-in-hand, the whirlwind romance came to an end within weeks.
Now, the "Slide Away" singer was spotted with Cody at a Los Angeles grocery store, E!News reported. An eyewitness told the publication, Miley and Cody came in to the grocer "real quick" to grab a drink and some sushi. And, according to the eyewitness, they also shared a "quick kiss" while perusing their food options. When they realised that people had spotted the, the insider revealed that the two rushed out the store.
Miley and Cody have been friends since their teenage years and share a great bond with each other. According to social media sightings, they seem to be bonding over a shared love for foods and beverages. Cody had earlier revealed in an interview that he and Miley became great friends because they shared similar experiences of growing up in the spotlight. "Miley is one of my best friends and she helps with some of that transitional stuff—trying to escape your childhood. She's super open-minded and I'm working on becoming more like that," Cody had said.
