Miley Cyrus recently sent support to pop icon Britney Spears amidst her conservatorship battle. Just moments before the 2021 Super Bowl commenced, the 28-year-old Malibu singer headlined TikTok Tailgate concert in Tampa, Florida. While performing, the singer gave a shout out to Spears and said “We love Britney,” while singing her hit party-anthem Party In The USA when she mentioned the pop star in the song.

The Midnight Sky singer’s sweet shoutout comes in the midst of Britney’s new documentary airing--Framing Britney Spears. The New York Times documentary is based on the way the media and public mistreated and exploited Britney throughout her career while also exploring her current legal battles over her conservatorship.

Back in November 2020, it was revealed that the 39-year-old pop star is seeking to remove her father Jamie Spears from her conservatorship. According to TMZ, on Tuesday afternoon, a Los Angeles judge will hear arguments on Spears’ requests, the boldest of which would remove James Spears as co-conservator for what his daughter says is an unwillingness to share control of her more than USD 60 million in assets.

The conservatorship, known in many states as a guardianship, began in 2008 when she was having serious mental struggles and an often public meltdown. The arrangements are normally limited to people with severely diminished ability to make decisions for themselves and are meant to be temporary, but Britney Spears, 38, has remained under court control longer than anyone expected.
