Michelle Rodriguez and Justice Smith join Wonder Woman alum Chris Pine in Dungeons & Dragons

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Michelle Rodriguez and Justice Smith will be joining the Dungeons and Dragons cast alongside Chris Pine, who had already been cast a while back.

The much-anticipated movie Dungeons & Dragons is getting even more interesting as the fans wait for the flick. After welcoming Chris Pine to the cast, the makers have added 2 new faces in the mix-–Michelle Rodriguez and Justice Smith. Today, The Hollywood Reporter, revealed that the two will be joining Wonder Woman’s Chris Pine in the film based on the popular role-playing game. Michelle Rodriguez is known for her work in The Fast and the Furious franchise, Avatar, Resident Evil and more. On the other hand, Justice Smith’s portfolio includes films like Pikachu with Ryan Reynolds, Jurassic Wolrd, Paper Towns and more. 

While there are numerous questions about the plot of the film and whether it will be a straight-up fantasy or will incorporate the storytelling and game-playing aspects of the video game it is based on. Now, with the addition of Michelle and Justice, fans are even more puzzled on what roles will they be cast as. While everything has been kept under wraps for the film, we do know that the feature will be directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, and produced and financed by Hasbro eOne and Paramount.

If you don’t know the game, the widely popular game--Dungeons & Dragons is a fantasy tabletop role-playing game and lets you create mighty heroes to battle monsters, solve puzzles, and reap rewards. The world is built from war games, treasure hunts, camaraderie and reversals of fortune, and features creatures of human nature, elves, orcs and hundreds of others.
