Met Gala 2019: Billy Porter makes the most dramatic entry in a catsuit with wings ensemble; See pics

Met Gala 2019 is currently underway and many celebs are sashaying down the red carpet by keeping their best fashion foot forward. But one celeb who stole the show completely is none other American actor and singer Billy Porter. For the event, he wore a golden catsuit which had two humongous wings and this is not all he was carried on a black velvet couch by shirtless litter-bearers and the same stunned everyone. As per reports, Porter's outfit is by The Blonds and his bejeweled catsuit had 10-foot wings and a 24-karat gold headpiece. His makeup was done by popular British MUA Pat McGrath. His elaborate golden costume gave us the feels of a pharaoh. This is not the first time Porter went all bold at a red carpet. During 2019 Oscars, he dressed in a black tuxedo gown like ensemble and impressed critics and masses alike. And for the Golden Globes, he was seen wearing a unique pink cape and wowed everyone.

For the unversed, this year's theme is Camp: Notes on Fashion. When asked his interpretation of the theme, Billy said that for him Camp means irreverence. He thinks Camp means over-the-top. 

In an interview with Vogue during Oscars, he explained his fashion belief. He said, “My goal is to be a walking piece of political art every time I show up. To challenge expectations. What is masculinity? What does that mean?”  Another dramatic entry at the event was by Lady Gaga as she revealed not one but four different outfits at the do.
