Meghan Markle's strongest supporter returns to Los Angeles after helping her with baby Archie
Baby Archie has been surrounded by his loving family including Meghan Markle's mother Doria Ragland who had flown down to be by her daughter's side weeks before she went into labour.
It has been a little over two weeks since the newest member of the royal family arrived and parents Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been enjoying parenthood to the fullest. Baby Archie has been surrounded by his loving family including Meghan Markle's mother Doria Ragland who had flown down to be by her daughter's side weeks before she went into labour. As per the latest reports, Doria Ragland has now gone back to her home turf in Los Angeles.
Doria Ragland extensively helped Meghan and Harry settle in their roles as mum and dad after Archie Harrison was born on May 6. Her influence has been such that she also received a mention in the official birth announcement from Buckingham Palace. The announcement read at the time: “The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage.”
Doria has now returned to her usual life and was spotted in Los Angeles walking her dogs, as per Mail Online. While Meghan continues to be at home, Harry returned to work three days after the birth of his first child. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have so far refused to hire a large staff to help with the baby. The couple apparently have a “scaled down team” and are yet to employ a chef or nanny at their Frogmore Cottage home.
It is being speculated that Meghan Markle is likely to make an appearance at the Trooping the Colour parade with the royal family on June 8.
