Meghan Markle's New York day out: Duchess cheers for Serena Williams at US Open; attends a public yoga class

Meghan Markle went all out to support her close friend and tennis player Serena Williams at the US Open. Arriving in New York, the Duchess of Sussex turned up for the final match between Serena, a six-time US Open champion, and Canadian teenager Bianca Andreescu. Meghan opted for a simple look and steered clear of jeans. While at the match, we got to see an animated Meghan cheering for her friend loud and clear. For the sports outing, Meghan opted for a mid-length, button-down, denim dress with a tie belt.
Before the match could commence, Meghan also met Serena's husband and Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian with whom she shared a sweet hug. Serena and Meghan have been friends since almost nine years after they met at the 2010 Super Bowl. For the match, the royal mom took her seat in Serena Williams’ box at Arthur Ashe Stadium. The outing marked the Duchess of Sussex’s first trip overseas without her 4-month-old son, Archie.
As pr reports, Meghan's trip to New York was last minute and a quick one. “It is a last-minute trip, She (Meghan) is excited to support her friend, and then come back.” a source told The Times, which broke the story of the royal’s plans. While in New York, Meghan also attended a Yoga class. The Duchess of Sussex and a friend headed to Modo Yoga, which offers hot yoga classes in an eco-conscious studio, a People report confirmed. She surprisingly joined a yoga class of up to 60 people.
