Meghan Markle receives a significant gift via Prince Harry as he attends a youth mentoring summit
At the summit, Prince Harry also spoke about parenthood. He told the meeting that fatherhood has changed his perspective on setting a good example for those around him.
Meghan Markle has partially resumed her duties after being on maternity leave for a while post baby Archie's birth on May 6. The Duchess of Sussex and Prince Harry attended the baseball game and had all eyes on them as they met teams on both the sides. At the event, Duke and Duchess of Sussex were presented with an adorable onesie for baby Archie. Just a day ago, Prince Harry was snapped visiting a mentoring summit sans Meghan Markle. The couple have been bestowed with different kinds of gifts for baby Archie.
However, this time around it was for Meghan Markle. At the National Youth Mentoring Summit, Prince Harry interacted with scores of young people in a meeting set up in the name of his late mother, Princess Diana. The new dad was handed over a lapis lazuli bracelet for Meghan made by Afghan War widows in a partnership that hopes to foster hope and healing with American war widows, reported People.
At the summit, Harry also spoke about parenthood. He told the meeting that fatherhood has changed his perspective on setting a good example for those around him. "Perhaps it’s the newfound clarity I have as a father, knowing that my son will always be watching what I do, mimicking my behaviour, one day maybe even following in my footsteps. But it’s not just my role as a father that shows me that; it’s in the people I see every day that don’t realize how inspirational they are to those watching," Harry said.
Meghan and Harry along with their son Archie Harrison will be officially touring as a family this year to southern Africa.
