Meghan Markle has witnessed quite a few firsts since she married Prince Harry in May 2018. And the most recent one was the Duchess of Sussex attending her first film premiere in the UK. Meghan and Harry made headlines when they walked the carpet of the premiere of The Lion King and interacted with the entire cast of the film who were present to greet the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Turns out, Meghan also fooled around about her acting career.

Actor Billy Eichner, who stars in the realistic remake of The Lion King and voices Timon, got to meet his former Northwestern University classmate, Meghan Markle, at the London premiere of the film last week. Speaking on NBC’s Today with Hoda & Jenna show, the actor revealed that he and Meghan reminisced their drama days and also discussed their old acting teachers.

He game show host said, "Meghan and I both went to college together. We were both theatre majors at Northwestern. We didn’t know each other when we were there, but we were there at the same time. Right there we’re having a very casual conversation about our acting teachers at Northwestern.”

Bill added that Meghan even joked about her career, “She said to me congrats on your career, and I said congrats on your career,” he said and while laughing, “She said, ’Well, things took a little turn!”  He also revealed that Meghan and Harry both were 'so cool and down to earth'.

This was the fairy tale ending to my royal panic attack. Thanks to @sethrogen for his support and my friend @jaredgeller for looking directly into the camera. #TheLionKing opens tomorrow night!!!!!!

Meghan and Beyonce's meeting from the same film premiere sent Twitter into a collective meltdown.
