The month of May has begun and countdown for the arrival of the newest member of the royal family is underway. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are prepping to welcome their first child any day and any time now. While media houses across the world are keeping a close eye on the happenings at Windsor, a midwife (a woman trained to assist during birth) has claimed the Duchess of Sussex may in fact be expecting twins.

According to a report in who.com, Lesley Gilchrist, midwife and founder of skincare company My Expert Midwife, said Meghan's baby bump was much "larger than expected". This sign has led many to believe the twins rumour.

Another clue apart from the baby bump have been Meghan's flying habits and her decision to not fly after completing 30 weeks of pregnancy. As per the report, the official recommendations by the Royal College of Obstetricians suggests pregnanyt women to avoid air travel after 32 weeks. Meghan Markle had confirmed sometime in February that she was six months pregnant.

Speaking to the Evening Standard, midwife Lesley Gilchrist said, "Meghan has consistently carried a larger than expected bump suggesting she could be expecting twins. When the Duchess was supposed to be around 18 weeks she looked more like what you expect at 22-24 weeks of gestation."

In other news, Prince Harry has cut short his official visit to the Netherlands by two days to be by wife Meghan's side and spend some quality time before the birth of their first child.
