All that Kevin Feige touches turns into a box office blockbuster. The Avengers movies are the perfect example of it. After setting the box office on fire with Iron Man, Captain America, and the other Avengers, Walt Disney Studios wants the producer to lay his magical hands on the Jedi. Yes, Kevin Feige will be a part of the Star Wars universe. A new announcement from Walt Disney Studios has confirmed Feige's involvement in a new Star Wars movie that will follow after The Rise of Skywalker.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Feige and Lucasfilm president Kathleen Kennedy and studio co-chairmen Alan Horn and Alan Bergman came together for a meeting late this summer. The team discussed "a foray into the Star Wars universe," a source told the international publication. Confirming the same, Walt Disney Studios co-chairman and chief creative officer Horn said that Kevin is being roped into the Star Wars franchise.

"With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Wars film together," Horn said. But that's not all the production house has planned. They also revealed, "We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of Star Wars but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company including Children of Blood and Bone with Emma Watts and Fox."

Apart from the new Star Wars movie involving Feige, Lucasfilm has two other Star Wars movies in the pipelines. Earlier this summer, it was revealed that Game of Thrones creators Dan Benioff and D.B. Weiss have been signed on for a new Star Wars movie. Another Star Wars movie with The Last Jedi director Rian Johnson is also in the making. Stay tuned to Pinkvilla for more updates.
