Madonna REVEALS Harvey Weinstein 'crossed lines' and was 'sexually flirtatious' while working together

The singer told the New York Times that how Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual misconduct and rape, 'crossed lines' with her back in the day.

International sensation Madonna has opened up about her encounters and experience of working with Harvey Weinstein in a latest interview. The singer told the New York Times that how Weinstein, who has been accused of sexual misconduct and rape, 'crossed lines' with her back in the day. A movie producer by profession, Weinstein's inappropriate behaviour was busted in 2017 after a NYT investigation and eventually he was also kicked out of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in October 2017. 

Weinstein has veeb accused by scores of women for inappropriate sexual behaviour and Madonna, too, had a similar story to tell. The singer's documentary, Madonna: Truth or Dare was distributed by Weinstein's Miramax company in the '90s and recalling those days, Madonna said, "Harvey crossed lines and boundaries and was incredibly sexually flirtatious and forward with me when we were working together; he was married at the time, and I certainly wasn't interested. I was aware that he did the same with a lot of other women that I knew in the business." 

The singer further revealed to NYT, "And we were all, 'Harvey gets to do that because he's got so much power and he's so successful and his movies do so well and everybody wants to work with him, so you have to put up with it.' So that was it." 

However, Madonna also revealed that she heaved a sigh of relief when Weinstein was called out and held accountable after being in a powerful position for so many years.As per the latest news the producer had tentatively reached a USD 44 million civil agreement with his sexual misconduct accusers, former business partners and other entities, the Wall Street Journal reported.
