Lisa Kudrow reveals she felt like a 'mountain' next to Jennifer Aniston & Courteney Cox during 'Friends' days
Speaking on the WTF podcast, the actress revealed that she felt like a "mountain" next to her former co-stars Jennifer Aniston aka Rachel and Courteney Cox aka Monica. Find out why.
The hit American sitcom from the 90's 'Friends' has been a fan favourite and is binge watched daily by scores of people even to this day. While the stars have gone on to make fabulous careers for themselves in the industry, Lisa Kudrow aka Phoebe Buffay recently opened up about body image issues she faced during her 'Friends' days. Speaking on the WTF podcast, the actress revealed that she felt like a "mountain" next to her former co-stars Jennifer Aniston aka Rachel and Courteney Cox aka Monica.
Lisa Kudrow went on to confess that there have been times when she did not feel comfortable with herself. “You see yourself on TV and it’s that, ‘Oh, my God, I’m just a mountain of a girl,’” Kudrow said on the episode of the podcast. “I’m already bigger than Courteney and Jennifer — bigger, like my bones feel bigger. I just felt like this mountain of a woman next to them,” reported People.
She also revealed that she often fell sick because she maintained being thin. “Unfortunately for a woman, if you’re underweight, you look good. And that’s all I ever got,” she told the host. “When I was too thin, I was sick all the time. A cold, sinus infection… I was always sick.” She went on to say that over time she learnt how to become comfortable with her body. Well, thin or not we've loved Phoebe and the entire star cast with equal measure.
