Youtube star Lilly Singh has added another feather to her multi-talented hat and has taken a huge step towards representing women of colour. Lilly, who recently dropped her name as Superwoman, made her debut as host of a late night talk show on American television on Monday night. Titled A Little Late With Lilly Singh, the show which aired on NBC made its debut on YouTube before heading to TV. For her first episode, Lilly performed an apt rap and a monologue which shed light on her bisexuality and women of colour.  Her guests for the night were The Mindy Project star Mindy Kaling and her The Office co-star Rainn Wilson.

In her opening segment, Lilly while speaking about minority representation among the late night talk shows made hilarious references. In her signature style, Lilly said how she and Hasan Minhaj look like the IT department of the late night world, jammed between the white men like Jimmy Kimmel, Jimmy Fallon, John Oliver and others.

Further on, she replaced the cast of HBO 'Girls' with Indian actresses like Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone and Alia Bhatt. Pointing out how Hollywood is all about minority representation right now, the YouTuber mentioned how these stars should replace the original. The YouTube comments were flooded with fans wishing Lilly on this huge milestone and showered love on her for this amazing feat. Lilly's rap also struck the right cord with many who loved her the YouTuber's signature style.
