It’s hard to forget how tremendous Willem Dafoe was in the character of Norman Osborn aka Green Goblin in Sam Raimi’s historic Spider-Man trilogy. Willem Dafoe went into the skin of Goblin’s character; massive Marvel villain. Now after all these years, Willem has talked about that exceptional role and the odds of reprising it in a Spider-Man movie under Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Willem Dafoe was in talks with CinemaBlend. He stated that “Oh god. Norman Osborn was a really fun role to play. I don’t know about that, I don’t know what they’re doing. That was then, this is now. Who knows?”

There are no chances of seeing him reprise that iconic role, but we shouldn’t forget the fact that Marvel always picks talent instead of age. Dafoe couldn’t be able to meet the physical demands of a character like Green Goblin. Do you think Willem Dafoe will be suitable for the character of Norman Osborn till then?
