Liam Hemsworth recently filed for divorce from his wife Miley Cyrus two weeks after the news broke out that the couple has decided to part ways.

Liam Hemsworth shares his FIRST post on Instagram since he filed for divorce from Miley Cyrus

Liam Hemsworth has been riding the rough tides over the past few weeks. The Australian actor is in the news for his split from Miley Cyrus. The couple, who was married a little over seven months, called off their wedding a couple of weeks ago. At first, it was being reported that the couple have just parted ways but now, it has been revealed that Liam has filed for a divorce from the Wrecking Ball singer. All this while, Liam had shared just one post - addressing the split from Miley- on Instagram.

The Hunger Games star has now returned to the social media platform to announce his upcoming Hollywood movie. The actor shared a still from his upcoming film titled Killerman. The drama/mystery movie releases in theatres this week and Hemsworth shared a post thanking everyone involved in the movie.

He wrote, "Excited to announce a movie I worked on called Killerman will be released in the USA on August 30th. I’m incredibly proud of the work everyone did on it. It was an absolute honor to work with my friend Emory Cohen again, one of my favorite actors, Malik Bader, an extremely creative and intelligent director, and the brilliant Ken Seng for his work as Director of Photography."

"Blood, sweat and tears were shed from all who were involved. Independent film making is always a tough thing to pull off and I just want to thank all the hard-working people who helped make it happen," he added.

E! News revealed that Liam filed for a divorce from Miley over "irreconcilable differences." The move comes two weeks after Miley's rep revealed that the couple has decided to "separate at this time." Miley already seems to have moved on from Liam with Kaitlynn Carter.
