Leonardo DiCaprio and girlfriend Camila Morrone have been receiving a lot of flak over their 22-year age gap and now it seems that the latter is over it. She recently decided to give it back to people who are critical of their relationship. For the unversed, she had posted photos of late Lauren Bacall and Humphrey Bogart on her Instagram and captioned the post as, "A love like this". Lauren and Humphrey too had a similar age gap between them. They were married for 12 years before Humphrey before passed away. Soon a barrage of hateful comments was seen on the post.
One of the commentators wrote," I can't believe what a dork she is posting something like this." Another wrote, "It's obv a comparison to herself and Leo. Girl, where are your friends?? Somebody stop her."One of the users commented,"(Your relationship with DiCaprio will be) over when you're 25."
Later, she took to her Instagram story to clap back at the haters. She said in a video story, "Good morning people and happy Frida. I just read some of the comments on my Instagram and...my God, people are so mean and full of anger with people that they know nothing about." She added, "I guess I just hope on this Friday that people learn to live with a little less hatred and place their time and interests elsewhere because living without hatred feels pretty good."
A few days ago, Morrone and beau attended Once Upon a Time in Hollywood movie premiere together in Los Angeles. She had even attended the screening of the same movie at the Cannes Film Festival in May. What are your views on the same? Let us know in the comment section below.
