Leonardo DiCaprio on Once Upon a Time in Hollywood co star Luke Perry: Was immediately struck by his kindness

Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is one of the most anticipated films of this year. The film stars Leonardi DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie and others in the lead roles. Directed by Quentin Tarantino, late actor Luke Perry plays a vital role in the film.
In an interview with EW.com, Leonardo and Quentin got candid about Luke Perry. About working with Luke Perry, DiCaprio said that he was struck by Luke's kindness. The Inception actor added that being a native of Los Angeles and being around Luke Perry in the industry his entire life and having it in a lot of ways shaped who he is and hence, there was an immediate excitement when he saw Luke.
Leo said he felt this overwhelming feeling of being star-struck. Leonardo DiCaprio added, "Then he and I got to sit down and talk about Los Angeles, the ’90s, his life, where his career had gone, where my career had gone, where his life had gone, where my life…and I was just so, how do I say this, the kindness of his character, I don’t know, it really affected me. When I heard that news it was really heartbreaking."
On the other hand, Quentin Tarantino shared that he had a couple of different roles he could've put Luke in. He shared that Luke had said that he wants to be on the Western show. Tarantino added that Luke was a great rider and loved doing Westerns.
Meanwhile, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood will release on July 26 and on August 15 in India.
