Kristen Stewart is 'GRATEFUL' to still be friends with ex boyfriend Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson recently revealed in an interview that he was in good terms with ex-girlfriend and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart, who is extremely grateful for his friendship. Read below to know more.
No matter how many years have passed by since their unexpected split, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart will still be asked about each other. It was during their Twilight (2008) days when the young couple fell in love. However, things took a turn for the worse when Kristen cheated on Robert with her Snow White and the Huntsman (2012) director Rupert Sanders. The split was not amicable but over the years, the exes are now on friendly terms. The two were even spotted in a conversational mood outside a common friend's house.
Recently, Robert stated in an interview with Sunday Times’ Style magazine that he is in good terms with his ex, Kristen. According to Hollywood Life, Rob still considers Stewart as a good friend, though they don't meet each other often. Robert and Kristen occasionally text each other about both personal and professional stuff. Out of respect for their past relationship, Pattinson does not talk much about his ex-girlfriend. A source revealed to HL, "Kristen is grateful to be able to call Rob a friend after all these years."
"They have been through a lot together and she is appreciative that he forgave her for some of the mistakes she made in their relationship. Kristen has matured and grown a lot since falling in love with Rob and never intended on hurting him or breaking his heart," the source added.
As of now, Kristen is appreciative of the fact that they can still talk and share things as well as forgive each other for their past.
