There aren’t a lot of celebrities like Kim Kardashian West out there in the industry. She always finds her way into the headlines every single day. This time around, it's quite serious as the reality star found that two tech companies are using her pictures in their photo-editing application. After this, the furious Kim filed a lawsuit against tech companies Taplogic and iHandy for using her pictures without her permission.

The name of the photo editing and makeup application is the ‘Sweet Cam App’. Kim’s picture that has been used in this app is a selfie that Kim took back in 2017 while promoting her famous beauty line for her very own advertising campaign. This is a well-known fact that Kim earns a massive amount of money through advertising that is the reason why the model has sued the company with a giant amount of USD 10 million.

The creator of this application, iHandy countered this lawsuit by claiming that they didn’t know the woman in the picture is Kim Kardashian West. After hearing this, the legal team of Kim has labeled the defensive statement by iHandy as ‘ridiculous’. All the information has been delivered by DailyMail.com after they obtained the court documents.

iHandy has also appealed to lower the amount of lawsuit as according to them it is way too much. On the other side, Kim’s legal team thinks that the amount is fair because they’ve warned the tech giants first with a notice of infringement. But, iHandy was too brave to handle at that time. Also, Kim earns quite similar figures if she agrees to endorse a brand through Instagram posts.

So, the amount according to Kim’s side is sensible. But, for now, all the decisions are in the hands of the court and we will be updating you with every single progress in this legal case. In the end, here's the famous glam skull tutorial from Kim for post-Halloween. Watch Now:
