Kim Kardashian on Lupus diagnosis: I definitely keep that away from the kids, they're too young to realize

Kim Kardashian fans were in for a shock when the reality star revealed on the premiere episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 17 that her antibodies had tested positive for lupus and rheumatoid arthritis. Kim K is currently under medication in order to stop the symptoms. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the 38-year-old mother of four beautiful children revealed that she had kept her medical issues away from her kids. "I definitely keep that away from the kids. I think they're just too young to really even realize," Kardashian shared with ET.

One of the symptoms from her health condition was that her hands were in constant pain. Hence, the hardest part for Kim was not being able to pick up her children, for a while. While Chicago West is a big baby and not light, she was most worried about Psalm West, who was not born then, when Kim first started getting the symptoms. The KUWTK star also confessed that she really had to get herself together because of her family and that she had to be really positive for them.

"No matter what's going on in your life, you can take that time to grieve for a second… and then figure out how to be positive about it because it's not going to change. There's no point in being depressed and staying in that headspace, but I felt it for a minute," Kardashian added.

When it comes to her current health condition, Kim shared that everything is okay now and that she's still on medication. She's "just rolling with it day by day."
