Actor Kevin Hart, who was involved in a horrific car crash on 1 September, has been on the hospital bed ever since. At the time of the accident, Kevin was on the passenger's seat, Jared S. Black on the driver's seat along with the latter's fiancée and Kevin's wife Eniko Hart's personal trainer Rebecca Broxterman. It was Kevin's 40th birthday gift to himself, a 1970 Plymouth Barracuda, that scraped off the side of the road, leaving Kevin and Jared with major injuries to the back.

According to a latest report in TMZ, Kevin Hart is currently in a grueling stage of recovery. Since his back has suffered majority of the injuries, doctors have so far repaired three fractures to his spine. The actor is naturally under immense pain. The report's source added that Kevin's surgery involved fusing the fractures. Two of them in the thoracic section of his spine, and one in the lumbar. Although the procedure was a success, Kevin is heavily medicated because of the intense pain.

The Jumanji: The Next Level star is now on complete bed rest. His wife Eniko had told TMZ earlier, "He's great. He’s going to be just fine. He's good. Everybody's good, thank God." As per the latest news, Kevin will have a long road to recovery since the injuries are major. The recovery stage is bound to affect the actor's jam-packed schedule as he already has five projects in the pipeline. Meanwhile, Dwayne Johnson cut short his honeymoon trip to fill in for Kevin on Kelly Clarkson's talk show.
