Towards the end of Marvel Studios Hall H Panel at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, Kevin Feige may have already teased the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) fans on what to expect from Phase 5. Read below for more details.
Marvel Studios Hall H panel may have easily stolen the entire spotlight from the remaining panels at San Diego Comic-Con 2019 with the mega announcement of the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) Phase 4 lineup. From The Eternals to Thor: Love and Thunder, from The Falcon & The Winter Soldier to Loki, Phase 4 promises a jam-packed roller-coaster ride. However, unlike the other three phases, Phase 4 is only lasting two years. Towards the end of the Hall H panel, Kevin Feige, President of Marvel Studios, may have already teased us on what to expect from MCU Phase 5.
Firstly, Kevin called on stage, two-time Oscar winner, Mahershala Ali and revealed that Blade was getting a reboot. Not only that but Feige also revealed that Guardians of the Galaxy 3, Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2 were in the works. Also in the developmental stages were movies on Fantastic Four and The Mutants aka X-Men. It won't be wrong to suggest that all these films could very well be released in the 2022-2023 Phase 5 era. GOTG 3 has been pushed because James Gunn is busy with Suicide Squad's (2016) sequel. Instead, a 2022 release date could be looked at.

Director Ryan Coogler is busy coming up with a treatment for Black Panther's sequel while Captain Marvel is yet to confirm the director. Fantastic Four will reportedly kickstart production in 2022 and hence we could see a 2023 release date. When it comes to the X-Men, Kevin revealed that the MCU movies surrounding The Mutants will be very different.
